Description

A comforting dish that combines creamy cheese, crispy bacon, and hearty ground beef, reminiscent of summer barbecues and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of short pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow macaroni)
  • 1 pound of ground beef (or substitute with ground turkey or chicken)
  • 6 slices of bacon (cooked and crispy)
  • 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add your choice of short pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Ensure to break it up as it cooks, making sure it becomes crumbly and evenly browned.
  3. While the beef cooks, prepare the bacon in another pan until it’s crispy. Remove it from the pan and place it on paper towels to drain.
  4. Once the beef is cooked, reduce the heat. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper, stirring well to incorporate.
  5. Add the cream cheese to the beef mixture, stirring until melted and smooth.
  6. Mix in the cooked pasta and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until everything is just combined, and the cheese begins to melt.
  7. Crumble the crispy bacon and fold it gently into the mixture.
  8. Serve hot, enjoying every bite of this delicious Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta.

Notes

For added flavor, consider incorporating fresh herbs or crushed red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
