Description

A hearty lentil burger that transforms any meal into a memorable experience, combining lentils, spices, and creamy goat cheese for a satisfying plant-based delight.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1 Fresno chili, diced
  • 1/2 cup goat cheese (or a vegan substitute)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Yogurt sauce (for serving)
  • Burger buns (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Combine cooked lentils, diced Fresno chili, goat cheese, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well until combined.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Serve on burger buns with a drizzle of yogurt sauce.
  5. Enjoy your lentil burger!

Notes

Experiment with different types of cheeses or spices to customize your lentil burger. Add breadcrumbs if the mixture is too wet and a splash of vegetable broth if it’s too dry.
