Description

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried lavender
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the honey, milk, vanilla extract, and dried lavender.
  5. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

  9. For the frosting, beat together 1/2 cup softened butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 teaspoon dried lavender until fluffy and creamy.
