Description

A robust marinade that enhances lamb steaks, infused with lemon, garlic, and herbs.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon garlic and herb seasoning
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard (or ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 500 g lamb steaks

Instructions

  1. Add the olive oil, whole grain mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic herb seasoning, salt, and pepper to a bowl. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Place the lamb steaks in a Ziploc bag or an airtight glass container and pour the marinade over them.
  3. Seal the bag tightly and massage the marinade into the meat.
  4. Let the lamb steaks marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for optimal flavor. If marinating longer, add the lemon juice just before cooking.
  5. Cook the lamb steaks on a hot grill or skillet until they reach a medium-rare internal temperature of about 145°F.

Notes

Choose fresh, high-quality lamb for the best flavor. You can experiment with different herbs in the seasoning.
