Description
Tender and flavorful Korean country ribs marinated in a sweet and spicy blend, perfect for grilling or broiling.
Ingredients
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 2 lbs country-style ribs
- ¼ cup honey
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup rice vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl.
- Coat the country-style ribs in the marinade.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least two hours or preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill or broiler on high heat.
- Discard the marinade and grill or broil the ribs for 6 to 8 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- Pour reserved marinade into a saucepan and heat it to a boil, then simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until thickened.
- Optional: Baste sauce over cooked ribs and serve immediately.
Notes
Allow ribs to come to room temperature before grilling for even cooking. Let them rest for a few minutes after grilling to redistribute juices.
