A comforting bowl of Korean beef noodles featuring tender beef, flavorful broth, and egg noodles, perfect for cozy family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound beef (such as chuck or brisket), cut into thin slices
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine the sliced beef, beef broth, onion, carrots, bell pepper, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine and cover.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- In the last hour of cooking, add the egg noodles to the slow cooker.
- Once cooked, serve in bowls and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
For added heat, consider adding red pepper flakes or chili oil before serving. Adjust seasoning to taste.
