Description

Delicious kafta kebabs infused with spices and fresh herbs, perfect for grilling and sharing with loved ones.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium yellow onion (quartered)
  • 1 cup fresh parsley (washed and patted dry)
  • 600 grams ground beef (lean)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon seven spice (pre-mixed spice blend)
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne (more to taste)

Instructions

  1. In the bowl of your food processor, add quartered onion and fresh parsley. Process by pulsing until finely chopped.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add ground beef, finely chopped parsley, and onion mixture along with all of the spices. Mix thoroughly with your hands.
  3. Form the kebabs by molding the meat mixture around the skewer, ensuring the thickness is about an inch to an inch and a half.
  4. Prepare your charcoal or gas grill, preheating it to medium-high and brushing with oil.
  5. Place skewers of kafta on the grill. Cook one side for about four minutes, then turn and cook for another four minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, ensure that your hands are slightly damp when forming the kebabs to prevent sticking.
