A deliciously rich ribeye steak paired with a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless ribeye steaks
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil.
- Add the steaks and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium rare, or until desired doneness.
- Remove steaks from the skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic, cooking for about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens.
- Slice the steak and serve topped with creamy garlic sauce and garnished with parsley.
Notes
Let the steak rest after cooking to allow the juices to redistribute. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
