Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this into the butter mixture.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool on the cookie sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
