Description

A comforting recipe for Italian meatballs made with ground beef, bread crumbs, and rich marinara sauce, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil. Brown the meatballs on all sides.
  4. Once browned, transfer the meatballs to a Crock Pot.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.
  6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Serve hot with pasta or in a sub sandwich.

Notes

For extra flavor, sauté fresh onions or add red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
