Instructions
- Slice the Italian bread or hoagie rolls in half lengthwise.
- Layer the lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pepperoncini, salami, capicola, and provolone cheese on the bottom half of the bread.
- Drizzle olive oil and red wine vinegar over the piled ingredients.
- Sprinkle oregano, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Close the sandwich with the top half of the bread and press down gently.
- Slice the sandwich into portions and serve immediately or wrap in foil for later.
