Description

Delicious and festive cake pops that bring the joy of birthdays to your home, inspired by the famous Starbucks treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of buttercream frosting
  • 1 bag of chocolate melting wafers
  • Sprinkles for decoration
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a rectangular baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake according to the package instructions, usually about 25-30 minutes.
  4. After baking, let the cake cool completely in the pan.
  5. Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large bowl, with no large pieces remaining.
  6. Mix in buttercream frosting until the cake crumbles stick together.
  7. Scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and form it into a ball. Place each ball on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Melt the chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals.
  9. Dip one end of each lollipop stick into the melted chocolate and insert it into a cake ball. This helps the stick adhere better.
  10. Once all sticks are inserted into the cake balls, refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm up.
  11. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  12. Before the chocolate hardens, sprinkle with colorful sprinkles for that festive touch.

Notes

Use high-quality chocolate for melting and don’t overload with frosting.
