Description

Delightful hydrangea-themed cupcakes decorated with beautiful buttercream frosting.


Ingredients

  • Cupcakes of choice (vanilla or chocolate)
  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk or cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Food coloring (blue, purple, pink, green)


Instructions

  1. Whip the softened butter in a mixing bowl until creamy.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until fully incorporated.
  3. Pour in milk or cream and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Separate frosting into bowls for coloring. Add food coloring to achieve desired shades.
  5. Fit a piping bag with a petal tip and fill it with frosting.
  6. Create petals by gently squeezing the piping bag while rotating the cupcake.
  7. Add contrasting color spots for flower centers.
  8. Repeat the process for all cupcakes.

Notes

Chill frosting if too runny; add milk to soften if too stiff. Maintain a clean workspace for precise decorating.
