Description

A flavorful weeknight dinner combining tender chicken breast, vibrant broccoli, and a sweet and spicy homemade sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or quinoa for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl to prepare the sauce.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then add the diced chicken. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli. Stir well and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still crunchy.
  4. Serve the chicken and broccoli mixture over a bed of cooked rice or quinoa.

Notes

Consider marinating the chicken in the sauce for enhanced flavor. Adjust Sriracha to taste for desired heat level.
