Description

Delicious and flaky Honey Butter Biscuits, perfect for breakfast or brunch, serving warmth and comfort in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually stir in milk until the dough forms.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Gently knead it a few times until smooth.
  6. Roll out the dough to about 1-inch thickness and cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter or a glass.
  7. Place the rounds onto a prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. While the biscuits bake, mix honey and softened butter until well combined.
  10. Once baked, serve warm with the honey butter spread.

Notes

For best results, use cold butter and avoid overworking the dough. You can add spices or cheese for variations.
