Description

A comforting and creamy hominy casserole featuring Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, and jalapeños for a spicy kick.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups canned hominy, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeños, canned
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180ºC).
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the hominy, sour cream, jalapeños, and Monterey Jack cheese.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
  4. Top with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake for 1 hour or until golden and bubbly.

Notes

Let the casserole rest for a few minutes after baking for easier serving. Consider adding fresh herbs for garnish.
