Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup caramel candies, unwrapped
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Roll the dough into balls and place on a baking sheet. Press each ball down slightly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
- While cookies bake, melt the caramel with the heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Once cookies are cool, top each one with a spoonful of caramel.
- Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the caramel-topped cookies.

Notes
