Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent.
- Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the ketchup, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Toast the hamburger buns.
- Serve the meat mixture on the buns and enjoy!
Notes
For a spicy kick, consider mixing in some hot sauce or diced jalapeños. Adjust sweetness by modifying the brown sugar amount.
