Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Whisk until blended.
  2. In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined; a lumpy texture is desirable.
  4. Preheat skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
  5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another minute or until golden brown.
  6. Repeat until all batter is used, adjusting heat as necessary.

Notes

For fluffier pancakes, let batter rest for about five minutes. Experiment with different toppings like fruits or chocolate chips.
