A comforting and flavorful homemade version of the classic Hamburger Helper, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

  2. Add the beef broth, macaroni, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 12-15 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
  4. Stir in the milk and cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. If desired, add in vegetables and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

Consider adding bell peppers or peas for added nutrition and flavor.
