Description
A comforting one-pan dish made with ground beef and elbow macaroni, enveloped in a creamy cheddar cheese sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional minute.
- Add elbow macaroni, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
- Stir in milk and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let sit for a couple of minutes to thicken. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For a creamier texture, consider using half-and-half instead of milk. Ensure cheese is at room temperature for smooth melting.
