Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- Honey, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the buttermilk until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it comes together.
- Pat the dough to about 1-inch thick and cut out biscuits with a cutter.
- Place biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
- Brush with honey butter before serving.
