Description

Delightful homemade biscuits that evoke comfort and warmth, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Make a well in the center and add milk, stirring until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  6. Roll out to about 1-inch thick and cut into biscuits.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flakiness, keep all ingredients cold and avoid over-kneading the dough.
