- 120 g chopped onion
- salt and ground black pepper to taste

- In a 2-quart baking dish, arrange layers of the sliced potatoes, the soup blend, and the cooked ground beef in an alternating pattern.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake until the potatoes are soft, which should take approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
- Sprinkle the shredded Cheddar cheese on top and continue baking until the cheese has melted.
- Dish up and savor your meal.
Notes
- Consider using ground turkey or chicken for a healthier alternative to ground beef.
- Add sliced mushrooms or green beans between the potatoes for extra flavor and nutrients.
- Experiment with mozzarella or Swiss cheese for a unique twist in this casserole dish.
