Description

A delightful dish of shrimp coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for family gatherings or a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Steamed rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until thoroughly combined.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve over steamed rice or with vegetables.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the shrimp in a small amount of the honey-soy mixture before cooking. Adjust sweetness by varying the honey amount.
