Description

A delicious high-protein dish combining tender honey garlic butter chicken with creamy mac and cheese, perfect for weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 3 chicken breasts, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons avocado oil or oil of choice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated mozzarella
  • ½ cup freshly grated cheddar cheese
  • 12 oz elbow macaroni, cooked al dente

Instructions

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl, add cubed chicken, mix well, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat avocado oil in a pan, add the marinated chicken, and cook until browned. Once browned, add butter, honey, and chopped parsley. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked through, ensuring it reaches a safe internal temperature.
  3. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a separate pan and sauté 4 cloves of minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add mozzarella and cheddar cheese to the cream, stirring until it melts and creates a thick, creamy sauce. Season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Stir in the cooked al dente macaroni until well combined and coated in the cheesy goodness.

Notes

For the best cheese pull, always use freshly grated cheese instead of pre-shredded varieties. Customize with additional spices to taste.
