Delightful high-protein bagel bites that combine creaminess and chew, perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Ingredients
- ⅔ cup all-purpose gluten-free flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 scoop (30g) unflavored protein powder
- Pinch of salt
- ⅔ cup plain unsweetened Greek yogurt
- 10 tsp cream cheese (about 1 tsp per bite)
- 1 egg, lightly beaten (for egg wash, optional)
- Everything But The Bagel seasoning
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine gluten-free flour, baking powder, protein powder, and salt.
- Mix in Greek yogurt to form a sticky dough.
- Flour your surface and divide the dough into 10 pieces, rolling each into a ball.
- Flatten each ball and add 1 tsp cream cheese in the center.
- Seal the edges and reshape into balls.
- Brush with egg wash or spray with oil, then sprinkle Everything But The Bagel seasoning on top.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (about 177°C) for 5 minutes.
- Air fry the bagel bites for 5–6 minutes until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly and enjoy warm.
Notes
Experiment with different seasonings like garlic powder, onion powder, or even smoked paprika for added flavor.
