Description

Experience the joy of hibachi cooking at home with this delectable hibachi steak recipe, featuring tender pieces of beef sautéed in garlic butter and savory sauces.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless steak (sirloin or fillet), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the soy sauce and teriyaki sauce in a small bowl. Set this mixture aside.
  2. On medium-high heat, melt the butter in a hot pan and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Toss in the steak bites, combining them with the garlic butter.
  4. Pour in the sauce mixture, ensuring every piece of meat gets thoroughly coated.
  5. Stir-fry everything for about 5 minutes, cooking until the sauce reduces and the beef achieves a nice sear.
  6. If desired, finish the dish with a drizzle of sesame oil.
  7. Serve hot alongside hibachi rice, hibachi noodles, or hibachi vegetables.

Notes

For additional flavor, consider adding vegetables during stir-frying. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
