Description

Delightful bites filled with a creamy cheese mixture and fresh herbs, encased in flaky puff pastry, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (such as parsley, basil, or chives), chopped
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut them into squares.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and chopped herbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a pocket and press to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Arrange the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm, and enjoy the smiles!

Notes

For best results, allow the bites to cool slightly before serving. You can also prepare the filling ahead of time and refrigerate it.
