Description

Delightfully nutritious cookies that blend peanut butter, oats, and chocolate chips for a satisfying treat without guilt.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine peanut butter, oats, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Stir until well mixed, then fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  5. Flatten the cookies slightly with the back of a fork.
  6. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  7. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For softer cookies, remove them from the oven when the edges are golden but the center is still slightly soft.
