Description

Delicious and nutritious brownies made with ripe bananas and wholesome ingredients, offering a healthier alternative to traditional desserts.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed, about 1 cup)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened Greek yogurt (or applesauce)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup oat flour (or almond flour for a grain-free option)
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Add the eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla to the mashed bananas, mixing until well combined.
  3. Stir in the cocoa powder, oat flour, baking soda, and sea salt to form a smooth batter.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until the center is set.
  6. Allow the brownies to cool completely, then slice them into 9 equal pieces.

Notes

Opt for overripe bananas for maximum sweetness. Adding nut butter or chocolate chips can enhance flavor.
