Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup potatoes, diced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup green beans, cut into pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic; cook until beef is browned.
- Stir in carrots and celery; cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add beef broth, diced tomatoes, potatoes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the green beans and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.
