Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
- 1-2 jalapeños, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork to your desired consistency.
- Add lime juice, onion, tomatoes, jalapeños, salt, and cilantro (if using) to the bowl.
- Mix everything together until well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as desired.
Notes
For a chunkier texture, mash the avocados lightly. Store leftovers by pressing plastic wrap directly onto the surface to minimize browning.
