Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 ounces egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until soft and fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned and breaking it up with a spoon.
- Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, allowing the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and mix in the sour cream, stirring until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the beef stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles.
