A hearty and comforting one-dish meal featuring savory ground beef, zesty onion, creamy mushroom soup, and flaky biscuits.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can of biscuits
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat with the chopped onion and garlic until the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and season with salt and pepper. Cook until heated through.
- Pour the beef mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Open the can of biscuits and arrange them on top of the beef mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
