Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in beef broth, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Add milk and melted butter, stirring until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling batter onto the simmering beef mixture. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until dumplings are cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy your comfort meal.
