Description

A comforting classic combining tender ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, and golden, flaky biscuits, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat and drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, season with salt and pepper, mix well and remove from heat.
  5. Pour the beef mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Cut the biscuits into quarters and scatter over the beef mixture.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For lighter options, use lean ground beef or turkey. Adding frozen or fresh vegetables can enhance nutrition without compromising flavor.
