A delightful grilled udon dish featuring thick noodles and colorful mixed vegetables, enhanced by a savory sauce for a rich flavor experience.
Ingredients
- 200g thick udon noodles
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, carrots, and bean sprouts)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
- Add the cooked udon noodles to the skillet.
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Pour the sauce over the noodles and vegetables.
- Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For firmer noodles, rinse under cold water before adding to skillet. Adjust vegetables according to seasonal availability.
