Description

Delicious grilled steak and shrimp skewers marinated in a rich blend of spices and served with a flavorful garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cubed sirloin steak with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, toss peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until aromatic. Remove from heat and stir in parsley, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Thread the marinated steak and shrimp onto skewers, alternating between the two. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the steak reaches your desired doneness and the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the top before serving.

Notes

Let the skewers rest for a few minutes after grilling to allow the juices to redistribute. Consider adding vegetables like bell peppers or onions to the skewers.
