Description
Delicious grilled steak and shrimp skewers marinated in a rich blend of spices and served with a flavorful garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine cubed sirloin steak with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, toss peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until aromatic. Remove from heat and stir in parsley, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.
- Thread the marinated steak and shrimp onto skewers, alternating between the two. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the steak reaches your desired doneness and the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the top before serving.
Notes
Let the skewers rest for a few minutes after grilling to allow the juices to redistribute. Consider adding vegetables like bell peppers or onions to the skewers.
