Ingredients
- Large onions
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Paprika
- Balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Cut the top off each onion and remove the outer skin.
- Cut the onion from the top down into the shape of a blossom, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Brush the onions with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the onions.
- Wrap each onion in aluminum foil and place on a hot grill for about 20-25 minutes, or until tender.
- Carefully unwrap and serve hot.
Notes
Serve these blossoms with grilled meats or as a standalone appetizer. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
