Description

Delicious grilled beef tacos filled with marinated flank steak and topped with fresh pico de gallo, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup pico de gallo
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak in olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper for at least 1 hour.
  2. Grill the marinated steak over medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  3. Let the steak rest before slicing it thinly against the grain.
  4. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill or in a pan.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing sliced steak in the tortillas and topping with pico de gallo and cilantro.
  6. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

Allowing the flank steak to marinate longer can enhance the flavors. Serve pico de gallo on the side for customization.
