- 1 large lemon, juiced (2 tbs)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) honey
- 1 tsp (5 ml) each paprika + onion powder
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) chili pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Set your oven to 420°F or your air fryer to 400°F for preheating. Use parchment paper to line the baking sheet.
- Combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, honey, paprika, onion powder, dried oregano, chili flakes, and a pinch of salt in a glass bowl. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese at the end. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
- In a medium-sized bowl, coat the large salmon cubes with one-third of the mixed sauce. Keep the rest of the sauce aside. You can either let the salmon marinate overnight or proceed to cook immediately. Bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes or use the air fryer for about 8 to 10 minutes. Ensure the salmon’s internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Move the cooked salmon to a serving dish and pair it with rice and vegetables. Drizzle some of the reserved sauce over the dish before serving.
Notes
- Marinate the salmon cubes in the sauce overnight for a richer flavor.
- Adjust the chili pepper flakes to your preferred level of spiciness.
- Sprinkle extra grated parmesan cheese on top of the cooked salmon for added richness.
