Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, olive oil, and melted butter. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes, until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  5. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil and place the dough on it, pressing to fit the sheet.
