Description
A quick and flavorful dish combining seared flank steak with garlic butter and noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 8 oz flank steak, thinly sliced
- 8 oz egg noodles or ramen noodles, cooked
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp honey
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ cup green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak slices for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove steak and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add red pepper flakes (if using), soy sauce, oyster sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and cook for 1 minute.
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
- Return the steak to the pan and stir gently to combine everything well.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For a richer sauce, consider adding a splash of broth or more honey. Adjust red pepper flakes to taste.
