  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves (4 cloves) garlic, minced or crushed
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) soy sauce, optional
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • Minced parsley, garnish
  • chili flakes, for finishing, optional
  • Additional vegetable oil for finishing, optional


Instructions

  1. Ensure the beef pieces are dry. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pan over high temperature. Arrange the beef cubes in a single layer. Brown each side on high heat until a crust develops, typically taking 3-5 minutes, depending on the size of the cubes and the pan’s heat.
  2. Introduce the garlic, optional soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Continue cooking the steak pieces to your liking, usually for an additional minute or two.
