Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring succulent shrimp in a rich garlic butter sauce over pasta.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti or linguine
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream; stir to combine.
  6. Let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Toss the cooked pasta with the shrimp mixture until well coated.
  9. Serve with freshly chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
