Ingredients
- 1 head of garlic
- Small bunch of fresh sage
- 2 liters of chicken broth
- ⅔ cup of olive oil
- Homemade mayonnaise
Instructions
- In a pot, combine the garlic and sage with the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Cook until the garlic is soft.
- Blend the mixture until smooth.
- Stir in the homemade mayonnaise to thicken the soup.
- Adjust seasoning as desired and serve warm.
Notes
Roasting the garlic in olive oil before adding to the broth enhances the flavor. Save sage leaves for garnish and drizzle olive oil over the top before serving.
