Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (240 ml)
- 1 teaspoon white sugar (5 g)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups milk (480 ml)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil, melted
Instructions
- Assemble all the necessary ingredients.
- Pass the flour, sugar, and salt through a sieve into a mixing bowl and set it aside. In a separate large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk using an electric mixer.
- Gradually incorporate the sifted flour mixture into the egg and milk blend until you achieve a smooth consistency; then add in the melted vegetable oil.
- Apply a small amount of grease to a griddle or frying pan and warm it up over medium-high heat. Pour or ladle about 2 tablespoons of batter onto the heated surface for each crepe.
- Quickly tilt and swirl the pan to spread the batter evenly into a thin circle. Allow it to cook until the surface is no longer wet and the underside is lightly browned, approximately 1 to 2 minutes.
- Gently shake the pan or use a spatula to loosen the crepe; flip it over and cook the other side until it also turns light brown, roughly another minute. Continue this process with the remaining batter.
- Pair the crepes with your favorite fillings or toppings, and savor the dish!
Notes
- – Ensure to sift the flour, sugar, and salt to prevent any lumps in the batter.
- Use a ladle to pour the batter evenly onto the griddle for consistent crepe size.
- – Allow the crepe surface to dry before flipping; avoid rushing the cooking process.
- Experiment with various fillings and toppings to personalize your crepes.
