A richly flavored flank steak marinated to perfection and grilled for a delightful culinary experience.
Ingredients
- 2 Pounds Flank Steak
- 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
- 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- 4 Cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 Tablespoons Chives (minced)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Balsamic Vinegar
Instructions
- Mix all marinade ingredients together in a Ziploc bag or large dish.
- Add the flank steak and marinate in the fridge overnight or at least all day.
- Heat the gas grill to high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and lay it on the grill for 2 minutes per side.
- Turn the heat down to medium and cook for another 7-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Aim for an internal temperature of 130°F for medium rare, adjusting for your preferred doneness.
- Remove the steak and let it rest on a cutting board, draped with foil.
- Simmer half of the remaining marinade in a saucepan over medium heat for 10 minutes to use as a sauce.
- Slice the steak against the grain and drizzle additional sauce if desired.

Letting the steak rest after grilling is crucial to maintain moisture. Consider adding spices or herbs to personalize the marinade.
