Description

Deliciously stuffed onion bombs filled with ground beef, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar, perfect for summer cookouts.

Ingredients

  • 4 large onions
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. Cut off the tops and bottoms of each onion, then peel off the outer skin and cut the onions in half.
  3. Carefully separate the layers to create bowls.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped cooked bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, salt, and pepper.
  5. Divide the mixture evenly among the onion bowls, pressing it down to fill each onion completely.
  6. Place the filled onions on the grill and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and the onions are tender.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh onions for the best flavor and adjust spices in the filling to accommodate personal tastes.
